  • Linux file system and navigating your way around using the command line
  • Yellow Dog Updater (YUM) updates for applying patches and package management
  • Advanced Packaging Tool (APT) for package management
  • Configuring your web server to suit your needs using EasyApache3 and EasyApache4
  • Configuring your web server variables for low level system administration,
    restrictions, user accounts, automation and more.

 

What to Bring

Throughout the course you’ll need a laptop for some of the
interactive parts. If you do not have one, a tablet will suffice or simply work
with another attendee to shadow them. The beginner’s course is 100% theory with
demonstrations throughout.
